Journalling

Christian journaling is a spiritual practice that involves recording thoughts and feelings about God, Scripture, and life events in a journal. It can be a way to connect with God, reflect on your faith, and grow in your relationship with Christ.

What can you write in a Christian journal?

  • Scripture: You can highlight key words and passages, or write down verses that have impacted you

  • Daily events: You can record what happened each day, or how you felt about certain situations

  • Personal relationships: You can write about your relationships with others, or how your faith has helped you in those relationships

  • Prayer requests: You can write down prayers you've said, or things you're asking God for

  • Reflections: You can reflect on how God has worked in your life, or what you've learned from your experiences

  • Goals: You can express your hopes for the future, or what you want to achieve

Why do people journal?

  • To connect with God and experience His love

  • To better understand how God is working in their life

  • To reflect on their actions and feelings

  • To gain control of their emotions and improve their mental health

  • To express their hopes for the future
